This isn't the kind of post I like writing.
For now, we can't deliver outside the UAE to the rest of the GCC. Because of the situation with Iran, airspace in the region has closed and flights have stopped, so deliveries to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman are paused. I'm sorry to anyone who is waiting on an order, or hoping to send a gift to family and friends there. I'll update our shipping page the moment that changes. Delivery within the UAE carries on as normal.
It also means I'm stranded here at home for the time being. Not that I don't love being home, because I really do, but it's a strange feeling having travel taken away from you. It has real Covid-times energy, and I'm not a fan.
I also want to say something that matters far more than parcels. A whole country of women, men and children is caught up in this, and it doesn't stop there. The effects reach all of us, here in the Gulf and around the world. I wish with all my heart that it would end and that everyone could be safe.
And because it needs saying plainly: I stand with Palestine, and I wish the genocide there would end. I'm against genocide wherever it happens.
